1. Employee Import Overview

If you are currently using another payroll or accounting system and want to migrate to Payroll4US, re-entering all the employee information can be tedious and error prone. The import functions can make the migration process seemless. The import function takes as input a csv file and load all employee information into the Payroll4US database. Due to different software design, your employee information may be spread across multiple csv files, each contain part of the information. For example, the basic information about name, address, and SSN etc are in one file, and tax withholding information such as number of dependents, number of exemptions, marital status etc in another file. No worries. You do not even need to merge the files before you import it into Payroll4US. Payroll4US allows you to do incremental import, meaning it allows you to load partial information from one file and then supplemented with another import of another file containing other information.
